Heritage

Singhvi Jewels was a brainchild conceived more than a century ago by Lala Manak Chand Singhvi. A patriarch in the gems and jewelry business, Lala Manak Chand Singhvi moved from Rajasthan to Delhi in 1850 and served as state jewelers to the Maharajas of Kashmir, Nepal and neighboring provinces at the beginning of the 19th century.

Following his demise in 1916, his son Lala Guljari Lal Singhvi extended and deepened the tradition of high standards and excellent service. Later his son, Lala Manohar Lal Singhvi, oversaw work for twenty years ending in 1945. Thereby, Mr. Satish Chand Singhvi, a connoisseur of gems took over and enriched the standards of the company which only prospered under his harness.
